You can create your own Doodle Playdate Party – with friends or family, or for corporate experiences to get creativity and productivity flowing. Read more on the Benefits of Doodling.
Had my first DOODLE PLAYDATE in my garden today. Eight wonderful people came to play, including two teens and my twenty year old daughter. These are the some of the ‘group doodles’ we created as a collaborative exercise to help us free our minds, loosen up our hands, and be inspired by the marks that other people make.
Seems like the Doodlers had fun. I know I did! After some fun loosening up processes, we doodled away an hour (which felt like five minutes).
One lady said it brought back memories of doodling repetitive marks as a child, which calmed her. She had forgotten that she used to doodle as a child! I think we often forget that we were once children, filled with all the creative possibilities of the cosmos inside us. We grow up and grow rigid. And when something like this reminds us of our childlike nature, it lightens up our day (and then our life.)
UPDATE: (8 Feb 2016)
Since this Doodle Playdate, I’ve hosted many more. Some with just adults, some with kids and adults. Some with just kids. All have been immense fun, and inspiring at the same time.
